The intro to communications class just completed their first video production efforts - their assignment = make a short 2min. film (obviously they had to develop a treatment, script, and storyboard their films - including shot selection, etc.) They used Final Cut Pro - and for the most part, I think they did fairly well, and I would venture to say they all have a better understanding of the process and tools of video production.
