I know I posted on this a while back, but I am still shocked at how ineffectively people use search engines. Here is a brief, brief outline of how to improve your "quick" google/ ask.com searches:
Use "parenthesis" to find exact words; ie. "byu"
Use () braces to find a string of words; ie. (byu, cougars, provo, utah)
Use +- with () to limit your string searches; ie. (byu, cougards, provo, utah) -(byu, idaho) +(byu, hawaii)
Hope that helps.
