What are the important/ essential aspects of lesson plans?

By now you should have completed your rapid lesson plan (you started it last time we had class); hopefully you have reflected on this question, certainly in light of your classroom observations.

So, again if I asked you what are the "important/ essential aspects of lesson plans" what would you say?

(Hint: Purpose, Objective, Material, Instructional Procedure, and Assessment are all main categories, however, there are several pseudo/ sub categories, what are they, how does it help to define them, etc.)
