1.) Why do you want to be a teacher?
2.) Why would/ should you use technology as a teacher?
A child miseducated is a child lost.
John F. Kennedy
What nobler employment, or more valuable to the state,
than that of the man who instructs the rising generation.
Marcus Tullius Cicero
The important thing is not so much
that every child should be taught,
as that every child should be given the wish to learn.
John Lubbock

My favorite part of this class has been actually learning how to do something new, instead of merely trying to memorize the dates and facts and theories, as I feel I do in most other classes. I wish I had made IP&T more of a priority, because I think I missed out on some very useful information. But, at the same time, my level of knowledge regarding the various programs has increased and more importantly, I am so much more confident in attempts. Hats off to Geoff for being so patient and sincerely interested in seeing us obtain these new skills. I hope I can continue to email you about technology questions in the future Geoff!
