Tonight our main focus introduces the idea and our goal for the semester of integrating technology in our classrooms; this does not mean "teaching about technology" or "learning from technology," rather, it suggests we "learn with technology." (Click here to download and read an article which introduces this topic. Please read this article and be able to discuss some of its more interesting insights during our class this evening.) In addition to this discussion we will be working towards our goal of creating a reflection network by setting up our "blog" and "blogline" accounts. I know it sounds scary, but not to worry we have a wonderful TA, and some helpful tutorials which should be of some service. Now remember "blogging" is an essential aspect of this course and will provide us a wonderful opportunity to reflect and therefore enhance our abilities as both learners and educators.
