To Scam or to be Scammed!

Wow, how timely was our discussion on Internet safety?! Here we are learning about how to protect ourselves from online schemes, etc. by becoming a little more web savvy (discussing such possible scams as 12DailyPro) and then it comes out only a week later (ABC reported on this, as did our DailyUniverse publication) that all those poor unfortunate souls who wanted to make a quick buck without really having to do anything (in 12 DailyPro) lost all that they invested. I feel bad for these people, but feel happy to know we are all a little more web savvy because of what we discussed in class.

12daily Pro affected so many people. I know people around here that were investing a minimum of $2,000. They were all excited about it and they actually did get money back but now as it really worked out, they all got left in the dust. I am glad we have learned about safety, and it does not just apply to internet safety.
