Are you feeling a little "beat-up"?

Is this you:

As I reflected on class last night I was feeling a little guilty for giving you a quick right, followed by a sharp left, resulting in a student K.O. I admit there was a lot covered, with mostly instructor lead lecture (boring) and little hands-on student participation. To be honest by the end of class I felt bad that the flow, etc. of the class seemed a little confusing. In an effort to help clairify things let me provide a brief outline of what is required:
  1. Download and read the "ABC" article (located in the outline of the Diversity assignment.)
  2. Read the article
  3. Research 10 websites which discuss and outline one of the issues of diversity as outlined in the Diversity assignment.
  4. Explain how the websites you found are viable resources (see template and ABC article)
  5. Add a portion of what you learned from your research to the class Wiki (under the appropriate heading - PW: IPT28xW05)
  6. Post a reflection re: diversity to your group blog
  7. Read other postings from your peers (blogging group)
Good luck - if you have any questions contact me, or post a comment on this site so I can address it for the general class audience. Might I also add: I promise from now on, class will be more clear, and student centered.
