Adhering to the theory and practice of formative evaluation please answer the following question concerning IPT 287: What do you think of IPT 287 and how do you think it might be improved? (Please comment on the use of instruction time, instructor methodology, couse content, assignment reasonability, etc.)
Rational: I want us to take advantage of both your and my time, however, because I did not analyze your learning needs, and therefore find it difficult to scaffold upon your prior knowledge, I feel it is important we analyze the direction of the course and redefine some of our objectives, etc. (that is if it's needed)! In the words of .... I guess...me, "Let us not waste our time."

I feel the same way as Lynette. This class isn't a waste of my time; the material discussed and the use of it is and will be exteremely helpful. I have told others about some of the things I have been learning. Yes, at times the class does seem kind of frustrating, but what in life doesn't. The pace of the class is perfect. I like having time to work on my assignments while you are there. Also, if I have a question, I have others to help me find the solution. I also enjoy your philosophy on learning/teaching. It is actually very refreshing to have a teacher who understands what we are going through as college students. As of right now keep doing what you have been doing, don't try to fix something that isn't broken...but do ask again later in the semester to see if we, as a class, feel the same way.
I feel good about how things have gone so far in the class. I like the idea of explaining the assignment and letting us work on it during class. I like this because it allows us to work at our own pace and not feel like we have to wait for others (or feel like we're being left behind). The course content I have found to be very helpful. Already I have numerous resources that I didn't even know existed! The assignment reasonability is good. I think it is an appropriate amount considering that it is a 2 credit class. Also, as far as methodologies go, I am glad that we are given opportunities to explore on our own and with others as opposed to simply being instructed on the screen. I will remember much more if I am given more chances to explore than if I just sit and passively watch what is being done.
I think that this class is awesome. I have already learned so much in the few times that we have met as a class so far. I feel very comfortable in class and with seeking answers to any problems that I may be having. Everything has proven to be very useful thus far and I am way stoked to see what else we will be learning later on. You are doing a fabulous job!(and I am not just saying that)
I really enjoy this class. I feel like I am learning things that can be really incorporated into my curriculm. It is giving me a great knowledge on different technologies and programs out there that can help me teach. I think the class is really exciting, I love it that we are given time to complete our assignments and ask questions about the week assignment at the end of class, it allows me to totally understand the assignment. As other people have said, I like the way you teach. You understand what it feels like to be a college student, and the stresses that are involved. You teach us the way that other teachers don't, you help us by teaching while you are also learning. Thank you for this great class, I really look forward to this class each week.
